The OSD Pharmaceutical, the Nutraceutical, and Fine Chemicals & API industries all have one thing in common: the need to protect the purity of the materials being handled and processed. METO Systems recognizes that equipment provided to these industries must be constructed to a consistent standard to minimize the risks involved in production. We have built a long and trusted reputation for equipment compliance, providing DQ, IQ, OQ and PQ documentation required for process validation. We produce products that can handle everything from fine powders and particulates, such as those produced during milling, to granulated compounds and large collections of pressed tablets.
These industries have the most precise requirements and manufacturing guidelines in terms of quality. As a result, it is critical that pharmaceutical and nutraceutical manufacturing equipment comply with good manufacturing practice (GMP). METO Systems manufacturers our products in accordance with Current Good Manufacturing Practice regulations (CGMP). We can provide required documentation from raw material sourcing and compliance through manufacturing and finishing. Our documentation control ensures that no equipment is manufactured without approval.
From FIBC docking systems to blending equipment to material lifting equipment to electric pallet jacks; all of our equipment is designed with flow control and contained transfer of product in mind. Their stainless steel construction creates a high quality and durable finish, for years of effective use, especially in clean room environments.
Our FIBC Docking System can easily and efficiently dock Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers (FIBCs, also known as “SuperSacks”) to downstream equipment. Provides material flow control, and an inflatable seal system ensures a contained transfer of product. The optional dust extraction system provides additional dust control for applications requiring higher containment of the product. Suitable for any clean room environment. When paired with a METOLIFT column lifter, the system can reduce the amount of handling and time required to position the FIBC, reduce cleaning and maintenance costs and reduce the amount of space required.
We have a complete line of blending equipment including Lab Scale Blenders, Container Blenders and Drum Blenders. Our blenders prevent product exposure, cross-contamination, and product loss, making them ideal for high-potency materials. They also minimize space requirements in your facility because they can blend, lift and position right onto a lift column. This allows the product to be blended and discharged directly to the next stage of the process without the need for additional handling. Plus, our fail-safe lift mechanisms hold the platform in place even in the event of a power loss.
For material lifting we have a variety of Column Lifts, Drum Lifts, as well as Container and Bowl Lifts. METO Systems offers a variety of positioner types—from small column lifts to fully integrated lifts—to meet your specific needs. Best of all, our positioners easily interface with other our products to lift, transport and discharge materials throughout the entire production or manufacturing process without skipping a beat.
The efficiency and ease-of-use of the METO Systems’ powered pallet trucks, also known as electric pallet jacks, makes it the ideal solution for transporting bins throughout your sanitary manufacturing process. Tight spaces are no match for our power mobile straddle stackers. With adjustable spread outrigger legs, this stacker is perfect for working in process suites, airlocks and other small spaces. here aren’t too many places on the manufacturing or production floor where our stainless-steel counterbalance stacker cannot go. This versatile, powerful and compact stacker has a short turning radius, making it the ideal choice for narrow aisles, process suites, airlocks, or where space is at a premium.
All of our equipment continues to be designed for a lifetime of reliable service. It is robust, value-engineered, and delivered as a complete system with little to no need for on-site assembly. Our engineering and service departments are available to provide systems support and advice on upgrades or maintenance and don’t forget our parts department for all spares requests.
