Welder

Our company is seeking a skilled Welder to cut and join metals and other materials at our facilities or construction sites. You will operate appropriate equipment to put together mechanical structures or parts with a great deal of precision. Your job is important as it provides the foundation for strong infrastructure.

A welder must be competent in using potentially dangerous equipment following all safety precautions. The ideal candidate will also have a steady hand and great attention to detail. Knowledge of different kinds of metal and their properties is essential.

Welder Duties and Responsibilities

  • Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures
  • Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements
  • Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g. cut material with powered saws to match measurements)
  • Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded
  • Align components using calipers, rulers etc. and clamp pieces
  • Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead)
  • Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps
  • Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws
  • Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety

Welder Requirements and Qualifications

  • Proven experience as welder
  • Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures (TIG, MMA etc.)
  • Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers etc.)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
  • Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.)
  • Proficient in English
  • Successful completion of a relevant apprenticeship program is required
  • Professional Certification (e.g. an AWS welding certificate) will be a plus
  • Physical fitness and the ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Strong analytical skills, precision, and attention to detail

Polisher

Seeking a detail-oriented Polisher to join our team. In this position, you will smooth and shine the surfaces of various items. Depending on the item, you may do this by hand or using tools. While you are polishing pieces, it is important that you keep an eye out for inconsistencies on the surface area or any potential safety issues. Applicants should be familiar with the materials commonly used in the industry and comfortable performing repetitive tasks.

Polisher Duties and Responsibilities

  • Smooth surfaces of items
  • Polish items by hand or with various tools
  • Look for inconsistencies or potential safety issues
  • Ensure all work meets quality standards, instructions, and specifications
  • Understand and comply with industry regulations
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Polisher Requirements and Qualifications

  • Polishing experience in the industry strongly preferred
  • Comfortable with repetitive tasks
  • Familiarity machine tools and equipment
  • High school diploma or GED certificate; trade school preferred
  • Physical fitness and the ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Strong analytical skills, precision, and attention to detail

Electromechanical Assembler

Seeking a skilled Electromechanical Assembler to Assemble machinery to engineered prints. The ideal candidate will read and understand mechanical, electrical and pneumatic drawings. Operate, maintain, test, troubleshoot, and calibrate electronic equipment so he or she can later fabricate, fit, and assemble products.

Ability to follow verbal instructions, work in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to meet deadlines is essential

Electromechanical Assembler Duties and Responsibilities

  • Reading blueprints, drilling bolt holes, assembling parts, inspecting them for imperfections, soldering electrical components, measuring parts, and verifying they are the correct dimensions based on customer specifications using precision measuring tools.
  • Training other employees on how to install and operate equipment and ordering parts if needed.

Electromechanical Assembler Requirements and Qualifications

  • Associate degree in electromechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a field related,
  • 2 years of experience using, assembling, or repairing equipment.
  • Skills in wiring, wire harnessing, crimping, soldering small assemblies and subassemblies, and using various hand tools.
  • Read blueprints, use measurement tools, and understand electro-static discharge (ESD) handling requirements.
  • Communication and teamwork skills are also essential to develop.
