We at METO Systems have been monitoring the COVID-19, Coronavirus, situation closely and want to update you on our response to this health emergency and how our supply chain is being potentially affected.
After reviewing our inhouse inventory and projected orders, we anticipate no immediate effect on production equipment or spare parts within the next 60-90 days.
We are also actively contacting our current vendors to track their inventory and any delays they see with their delivery schedule.
Currently all our vendors are projecting the same, no disruption for the next 60 to 90 days.
However, it is far more difficult to look beyond this time period or to predict any possible impact due to raw material requirements.
We have worked hard at Meto Systems to ensure we are not sole sourced on any major components, however where this has not been possible, we are holding additional inventory and doubling down on securing alternate sources.
As from March 13th, 2020, if there has not been a significant improvement in the spread or understanding of Coronavirus, then any site work requested within the Eastern time zone will be a drive event.
All other site requests outside of the Eastern time zone requiring a flight will be discussed at the time.
We hope that the precautions we are all taking have a positive effect, however, it is incumbent on us all to be prepared and to plan accordingly.
We will continue to monitor the situation and update you as the situation progresses.
The safety of all our clients and customers are our number one concern, and we ill do everything necessary to make sure of that.
