Obituary

Anthony ‘Tony’ Manno, was 54, was regional sales manager

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Anthony “Tony” Vincent Manno, who was called home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2024, at the age of 54.

Tony’s career started in CAD, moving onto sales in the metal fabrication industry, eventually becoming a Regional Sales Manager in pharmaceutical manufacturing. He was a dedicated employee at Meto Systems.

Tony had an infectious humor, deep love of family, and a generous heart. Whether coaching his sons’ sports teams, playing hockey, hitting the golf course, or spending time with friends, Tony was fun and full of energy. He had a passion for cigars, bourbon, wine and collecting Pokemon cards with his boys. Tony and Alyssa especially loved traveling to Aruba where they created cherished memories with special friends.

He was proud to be a lifelong resident of Rockaway Borough and was overjoyed with the purchase of his dream home. He decorated his home for many holidays bringing smiles to his community.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who offered support during this difficult time. Tony will be deeply missed, but his love, laughter, and spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever.

Tony is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Alyssa (Petrucelli), and their three sons, Anthony Jr., Nicholas, and Steven. He is also survived by his father, James, stepmother Mary, his sisters Jamie Lynn Manno, Anne Marie Carroll, Karen Collins, his brother Michael Venditte, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. He was predeceased by his mother, Sharon DeMarco.

A celebration of life will be held from 2 to 6 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 28, at the Mission Banquet Hall, 66 Beach St, Rockaway.
