Drum Blenders

Drum tumbling is a common way to keep ingredients in liquid suspension and break up powder clumps before discharge. Container blending also provides fast and easy mixing of dry powders and granular materials directly in the containers.

METO Systems’ sanitary drum tumblers work for all three activities, but they differ from more common drum rollers in that they rotate the drum end over end instead of spinning about the center axis. This ensures a more robust agitation action inside the drum and eliminates the need to position it on its side.

Lab Scale Blenders

Used extensively across many industries, lab scale blenders mix dry powders, granules, pellets, and other solid forms. Typical applications range from spice blends, baking mixes, and food supplements to polymer blends, composite fillers, and pharmaceutical powders.

METO Systems’ laboratory blender can blend, lift, and position right onto the column to ensure that the products get combined consistently and quickly discharged for further processes. Its fail-safe lift mechanism and the full locking swivel casters and floor leveling locks ensure safe bending and keeping the system in place on the platform in the event of power loss. These stainless-steel laboratory blenders, used for blending round or square containers, are ideal for high-potency materials. They come with a wide range of control and drives option, from pneumatic to hydraulic to full automation, in a simple design, resulting in low maintenance cost.

Bin Blenders

Bin blenders are designed to provide a homogeneous and efficient blend. They are ideal for high-potency materials as they prevent product exposure, cross-contamination, and product loss.

METO Systems’ stainless-steel bin blenders also minimize space requirements in your facility because they can blend, lift and position right onto a lift column. This allows the product to be mixed and discharged directly to the next stage of the process without the need for additional handling. Our fail-safe lift mechanisms hold the platform in place even during a power loss.

Our bin blenders can be configured to work with your existing bins and built to height and reach specifications required by your unique application. If automation is essential, the rotational column option provides precise positioning to reduce spills or exposure further.
