column lift

Operational efficiency and safety are paramount in the dynamic landscape of material handling requirements.  Whether you are elevating process equipment to take advantage of gravity, moving material to storage, or moving product between process points, there is a need for robust, easy-to-operate, safe, and operationally repeatable vertical handling equipment.

Platform lifts are common in many industrial environments and frequently found in warehousing, production suits, or distribution areas. They move products simply via the push of a button with little effort and safely. They lift and position multiple-sized loads, weighing 10’s to 1000 lbs., and eliminate the risk of accidents caused by manual operation.

Meto Systems platform lifts provide a stable base plate, secure fencing, and locking/interlocked gates to safely control vertical traffic in many different environments. Driven by an adjacent column, loads of all weights and sizes can be easily taken from ground level to one or many elevated levels. At each level, access will be through a safety interlocked gate.

An operator would control the lift through a ‘control architecture’ designed to suit any working environment,  from simple push-button technology to a more sophisticated HMI interface. All levels of functionality can be provided, even in hazardous areas, and all levels of connectivity can be provided for remote or additional operations.

All Meto Systems platform lifts are designed and manufactured with service life, operator ease, limited maintenance, and safety at the forefront of our designs. The units are all manufactured from non-shedding, corrosion, and maintenance-resistant stainless steel. The design has multiple levels of safety-driven details, and the control architecture is based on easy-to-understand logic, large tactile operator Interface Terminal OIT, and a robust design centered on reliability and longevity.
